Description:  Z238 is a mild steel core, strong type coating of graphite of spheroidal graphite cast iron welding electrodes, as adding a certain amount of spheroidal agent, graphite in deposited metal spherical precipitate in the cold process, AC-DC.  

use:  for welding of nodular cast iron.

Note:  

1. welding electrode is subject to 250 ℃ or baked 1h.  

2. before welding the welds should be preheated to 500 degrees Celsius, insulation slow cooling after welding, welding and cutting is possible.

normalizing: 900-920 c insulation 2.5h, furnace cool to 730-750 c 2H remove cold.  

annealing: 900-920 c insulation 2.5h, furnace cooling to below 100 c.  

Z308 cast iron welding rod   meet the  GB EZNi-1 

a  AWS ENi-C1 

Description:  Z308 is a pure nickel core, strong reduction with graphite coating of cast iron welding electrodes, welding time, weld not warming up, have a good crack resistance and processability. Nickel is expensive, can be used only when the other electrode does not meet. AC-DC.  

use:  for thin cast iron part and repair welding machined surface, such as engine blocks, guide, gear, and other important grey cast iron.

Z408 cast iron welding rod   meet the  GB EZNiFe-1 

a  AWS ENiFe-C1 

Description:  Z408 is a nickel-iron alloy cores, strong reduction of graphite coating electrode for welding cast iron, have high strength, good ductility and low coefficient of linear expansion. Z308 almost cracking resistance of gray iron, ductile iron is stronger than Z308, high phosphorus content (0.2%P) cast iron, also with good results, machinability than Z308 and Z508 slightly worse. Use at room temperature or slightly warm (up to 200 ℃) welding of grey cast iron and nodular cast iron. AC-DC.  

use:  suitable for important high strength grey cast iron and spheroidal graphite casting repair. Such as cylinder blocks, engine, gears, rollers, etc.
